Default Can Mamba handle 4 cells Ni-Mh??

Hi Joe,

With new ruling poping out... can Mamba run on 4 cells??
Will Mamba comes out with a firmware upgrade to make it run on 4 cells??

I've already tested it on 4 cells. Disable the BEC on the controller by lifting the tab on the receiver plug and pulling the red wire out (be sure to insulate it afterwards), then solder a receiver plug to the ESC side of your battery connection and use it as a jumper to power the receiver.

Still working on it...we don't do estimated delivery dates...too many people got mad when the product/software/etc wasn't released on the estimated date. Sorry.

so the mamba max isnt sensored. is it still driveable at low speeds or is it all race? and how would it do in a 2wd race truck?

You wont have to worry about low speed, it is nice and smooth.

so ill be able to do stop and go type stuff in the yard but still be able to nail the gas and hall a$$ on the track? i want somethign good for everything. does it drive as good as a sensored motor? or is the throttle not quit as controlable?

It feels similar to a brushed motor, just more power.

If you compare one of the top selling brand senored motors to the Mamba You would think the sensored motor is the senorless one. They are so smooth. The Esc;s are fully programmeable to what ever power curve you wish to use or what suits your driving style

Well an equivilent brushed more would be equal....id say a 5700 is somewhere around 10 to 8 turn.
