People have said its a similer enging to the MT, When I opened my new kit today, I looked at the speck sheet that came with the engine, and it said RS 12 in the table.... as if Mugen just cut and pasted the table onto their bit of paper.....
The MR12 is a short shoke engine with a standard plug.
The RS12 is a short shoke egine with a turbo plug.
The MT12 is a long stroke with standard plug.
All of these engines have the same power with different power band, meaning the MR12 gets you from A to B faster than a MT12 but from B to C is the same, meaning same top end performance.

Does anyone know if the MTX 2 front diff fit into the MTX 3 or is mugen coming out with a gear/ ball diff for it ?
Also, is the pillow balls for both cars the same, size and length wise?

the plastic parts of the front diff is included in the kit. if you want to run front diff, you need to buy all the metal parts of front diff

you can mount them both if you flip the switch mount upside down. The switch will stand up a little above the deck and the transponder mount will sit a little lower.

Default Pipes Again!?

Do the Japan and Hong Kong engine kits come with the tuned pipe and manifold?

Robbie C, I am almost possible that you got the Stats on the engines backwards on the Nova Rossie's. The MT is the Torque engine. The MR is a mid stroke. Like I said, I think that you got it backwards.

I just got a e-mail from my engine guy and he said the MT has more low end Punch than the MR. Which in turn has the midrange.

Not sure about that. The mags and reports all say the MT has more torque but I have never seen a long stroke engine with more torque than the same engine in short stroke form.

My 2 cents.

Dennis can you clarify this for us. Or is it possible to reverse the operation.
