if you are looking for outlaw pipe then you have to try Charge pipe, it has an insane 7.2mm stinger, it really unleash the power of the engine.

if you are looking for legal then go for RD logic legal pipe in 2 piece version because you can play with the length of the pipe to fine tune it!

I would stay away from aluminum pulleys, because they do wear too, and when it does happen it will become sharp and it will cut your belts

Not the 3Racing pulleys.

Mine are as old as my car (5-6 months, raced almost every weekend) and the don't show any wear as of yet.

Oh really! when I had my mtx2, those kawahara pulley last me like 3 months then start sharpen and start cuting belts, and I switch back to stock plastic pulley and the set of plastic pulley on the mtx2's life were over 2 years! I might have a bad batch of k pulley but then I have also seen someone's car with aluminum pulley worn out on them and cut belts too!

I think plastic pulley would be easier on belts

Hell, you wouldn't want my setup anyway... I run some strange things for my car... but if you need any setup help, there are many guys on this thread that could really help you.

I run Square pulleys, I believe, on my MTX2, and they are great. At least a year old, and only one got shot because of an errant rock that got pinned between the chassis and the pulley. A plastic pulley would have been shot to hell if it went through that.

Stefan,

Everybody's entitled to at least one good idea during their lifetime!!

Any chance of some pics or a description of what he did?

All the best

Sorry for all these questions. My first mtx3...

Do you guys true run smaller diameter tires up front on the mtx3? So that the car pulls more than pushes??

BTW, mtx3 looks siiick!! Much better than my ntc3.....now I'll have to drive it first to determine the performance differences....but the craftsmanship on the car is just insane.

The manual is crap! Does anyone know if there's like a "tuning guide" for the mtx-3??
