would any of you mind measuring your shock length for me incase this has something to do with my issues

Using the short ball socket piston rod end, 1/2 turn from the ball bottoming out on the end of the piston shaft. Just so they are close. Droop controls the rod length in the car. I suppose piston position should be close to the same.

I have ~ 2mm rear and 4mm front cleances between the bottom of the shock cap and the top of the preload adjusting nut if that helps. I do have all shocks laying down one hole from the max lay down postion. Ride height is ~4.5mm.

What kind of issue(s) are you experiencing?

Just the issue of droop effecting ride height. We have to run 5mm minimum ride height here but with my droop set at 5.5 front and 5 rear ( measured on under the outer hinge pins) it changes my ride height. I have the shorter ball cups fitted and just off fully.tight

I found that with the stock springs in the front I could not lower the ride height to 5mm but by switching to the softer springs I can now adjust it as I want.

I run them softs up front also. He might have to cut down his stiffer springs.

You get those alum rear hubs? Lol

If i back the droop screwa off ao i have no more than 4mm droop then i can get the ride height i wanted. Measured the shocks today. They are all 58.05mm

I did get the aluminum rear hubs, and have been ready to come race the past two weeks but the roads have been the pits and I'm not willing to take two hours to get there. Maybe this Sunday if things look better.

I recently looked over the Xray tuning guide and saw that there is a difference between droop and downtravel/downstop settings. I Hear everyone talking droop but they are measuring the bottom outside of the arms with referrence to the bottom of the chassis. As I understand it, this is not droop rather it's downtravel. Anyone care to comment?
