Neil, I highly doubt that B's will work on that carpet. They were terrible on carpet the times that I tested them. I think you will need to run Type A's. You will have way too much grip up front, though. If you have an old set that still have some life left in them, try putting a 1/8" bead of ca glue around the shoulder of the front tire. I think this will help to reduce the amount of side bite that you have and make the car scrub less speed. You will scrub a lot of speed with A's.

Sorry to say but there don't, I have been to the TCS world a couple of year know I have never seen B's work there all seem to run "A"

Everyone recommends A's. It's the issue of what to do with the tires when there.

Trev is our team bitch Coffee, white with 2 trev
TJ is the event co-ordinator in Australia, and also gets to tag along to the worlds. we will rent him out to the US team for a small fee.

With regard to tires, i would think type A without a doubt, the rules state that we can not tamper with the wheel, insert or tire so im not too sure if we can do a whole lot to them.

Neil - can you email me the last years setup from the worlds?

So if I understand you correctly you have to use the inserts that come with the tires, can you add something along with them?

Those of you interested in running in the F1RL series, be sure to go to www.f1rl.com and sign up for the newsletter. As soon as October is over (all the shows and the worlds going on) we will be able to pin down the dates and get the series going. Also, we should have our first meeting at the end of the month sign up for the newsletter so you stay in the loop! It's going to be a lot of fun!

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully they won't ALL be at the Tamiya HQ track. I only have one Saturday off in November/December. It's the 11th of December.

Hope you can get a couple of race venues for this year. Any ideas, or is everything is up in the air (I know you've been quite busy with the shop)?

You can start up the Lone Star branch of the F1RL (once you find some tracks out there).

Or maybe you could talk your CO into letting you set down some "road rails" on a deserted stretch of tarmac on the base.

Can't do a darn thing to them. That includes adding or taking out.

Not a whole lot of tarmac where I'm at. Besides, having such an event on a base would case lots of suspicion rather than interest.

Neil,

If you don't mind, can you send me a copy of the set-up from the champ via PM?

Thank you and good luck.
