Small update on the body thing. While at the races Friday I was pitted across from a guy with an 8ight-E 4.0. His body looked a little wider so I asked if I could see if it fit.. and low and behold it seemed to fit pretty well. I ordered one when I got home, will report back this week when I get it.

For the 2.0 electric, I use it on a converted 3.0 nitro, it fits well.

Would the titanium (upper&lower) screw kits for the 4.0 or the 8T 3.0 pretty much work for the 8e 3.0??

Isn't there a set made specifically for the 3.0?

Pretty sure its ProTek that made the set I used when I did mine.

I am really liking this car since I moved the battery forward, and softened the front sway bar. I also moved the camber links outward as suggested here. This thing handles great.

Speaking of battery forward mod thread, what battery tray do you guys use? do you just cut/modify the stock battery tray to fit?

Also which body or bodies fit the best with the battery moved forward and ESC in the back? There is very little clearance with a hard case 4s battery as it is.

E_buggy experience showed me the bulldogs were overall raised higher in that special section (can't make them anymore OL) For now Leadfinger's get the nod.

put the battery tray up front and the ESC in the back. Then they are long enough.

Don't you have to mod the chassis and stuff to do that ? on the 8ight 3.0 ?

Yes, otherwise you only have two existing screws holding the battery tray down. for the other holes you have to drill and tap the holes.

Other option would to be to get a 4.0 chassis or 4.0 car.
