It's both rubber and foams but i can only use foams cause my set of rubber tires is wrecked and my other set is on my backup car. even if i ran rubbers it would still be slippin n slidin.

If you want to use foams you may want to try something like 40 shore at the most or even 37 shore.
Other than that, all I can see is that 60wt oil may be a little heavy for parking lot racing.

My TA05 had perfect grip on my hardwood floors with the 45 shore tires... So why would it slide so much on asphault?
#4676
That was what i was thinking until I drove my TT-01 there. My TT-01 didn't slide at all.

One very fast TA05
G'Day
I race on an asphalt track in Australia. In summer I use Sorex 28 or Take off 27. In winter with the night air I will be using Sorex 24 for the next few race meets. The track is very slippery at first but after the other classes (including Nitro) the track is swept and the grip is a bit better. the set up is as per the book but I am using TC4 spring (blue and red). I find they are a bit harder than the tamiya ones. For stock I'm using a CO27 Team scream tuned motor with a 75/27. The car is fast. I one season 1 on the Townsville On-Road comp for stock. Season 2 starts this Wednesday.
Has any 1 run a 10x2 motor? What gearing do you think? I was thinking something like 20 - 22. Any info would be great as I want to see a TA05 race in Mod and be very competive.
