darthkir, do a search in the forums here or at RadioControlZone and you'll find many such threads concerning these radios. Enough have been said about the Pros and Cons of both.

I have both the M8 and an older 3PJ. The difference lies in the ease of the interface. The M8 is so easy to use, you don't need a manual. The 3PJ's interface and keystrokes is a little more complex. Having said this, once you learn to use it, the 3PJ will be as easy to use as the M8.

I would expect Futaba to improve on the 3PJ's design in the new 3PK, so now it sports the same large display screen as the M8.

You can get either, there won't be much diff.

Note: The M8 is FM only, while the 3PK is either FM/PCM. You also get to use the new HSF receiver which when used with Futaba digital servos allow for faster response (so claims Futaba).

There is one LHS here that claims that the Futaba 3PK is not good as compared to the Sanwa M8. He claims that the M8 is the most widely used among the professionals. Is this true? Any experience?

Well, the LHS is right (I believe), when they say the M8 is widely used by Pros.

On whether the M8 is better than the 3PK, I don't know......

Thats most noble of you V-One S! However educating idiots is trying to teach a pig to sing..............It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
However even after saying that, I will be glad to help you in your quest to de-ignorise the peasants.

Small request please, can you please name all of the manuafacturers that u can.

If it has already been mentioned please do not add it, and under the name of that manuafacture, the different types of cars they make, just say electric, nitro, and the size I.E. 1/10, 1/8

Thanks

This is so that i can build the webpage i was talkingabout to do with info on this evergrowing hobby.

I requested it in here, because you guys are really helpful with this stuff and i dont want a thread that ends up in an argument.

Thanks

Matt
