anyone having luck with the front kickup block turned around to 30*? I like 29 at the wheels (25+4) but i need my buggy to cruise over the bumps a little more. Anyone know if this will help?

Using stock shafts with, avid axles. cvd pin/coupler or barrel whatever it's called. Kyosho does not sell the parts separately, why they don't is beyond me 
Is there any other brands that fit? m.i.p, losi, ae, etc or do I have to swap over to the whole mip system? and use there shafts etc. What option are out there? I know this can't be the first time this has come up.

So ready to pull the trigger on a RB6. Coming from a DEX210 that I struggle with lack of steering, everyone else seems to turn tighter and with better corner exit.
Seeing the common setup sheets online it seems the consensus is mid motor. I run on a small-mid indoor clay track with medium traction -- sometimes high.
Is mid motor the way to go with this ride? Is the Tebo WC setup one that I should build from initially? What are the characteristics of MM for the RB6?
DEX210 in mid motor just wasn't popular in the US unless it's high traction clay or carpet, and most are running RM3 at my local clay track. Is the RB6 most efficient in MM.

The rb6 is a beast to drive MM, way better then my dex210.
Personally id start with Tebo's reedy race setup and adjust from there.
One of the tracks I run on is a small indoor clay track and that setup with Super soft handlebars rear and ions up front the car is money.

What are people recommending, Tebo or Cody King's Reedy Race setup as a starting point?

Try both they are equally good. I feel Cody's is a touch more neutral to drive.

Yes, I'm not able to hammer the throttle quite as much coming out of the turns but I can carry over all more corner speed so overall I had to learn to drive less point and shoot and more smooth but my lap times show that even tho it may seem slower to me I've gained near a full second a lap.

I mean this in no way as a knock on Cody King but I was very surprised that someone who is known way more as a nitro 8th scale driver came up with such a good indoor clay 10th scale track. Props to him.

The only difference that I see between king's and tebo's setups is that Cody is running 2 deg anti squat and no shims between steering piece

The stock pistons that come in the rb6 ,are they 5x1.3 or are they something else 5x ?.?? Thnx

The stock pistons holes have been discussed in detail in this thread, if you search "stock piston hole " size you will probably find it. IMO, for this buggy, the 5 holes do not have enough pack for a track with even medium sized jumps. The Kyosho 4x1.3 are pretty good but I think 2x1.6 are good too. It has been debated that the Kyosho 6 hole pistons have more pack than the 5 hole due to the hole size being more important than the quantity.
