Does anyone have a good gearing for a 17.5 no esc timing (blinky) setting? I read 43/88 but that seems insane. Anyone?

Use a Kimbrough 69 tooth spur gear and the largest pinion you can put on. Or do the Losi thing with a Kevlar 70 tooth spur gear, and the largest pinion that will fit, tailor to your track needs always. And check motor temps after 7minutes.

I run a 72/33 with the AE spur gear and pads. Schuur Speed motor and it has 40 degrees of timing.

The track isn't, but I am. There's no determination between stock and mod classes besides 1 lap. So, I'm going to rce to run stock for the gobbler an keeping the motor in my car.

Ahhh, ok. I ran 17.5 in the 13.5 class on the old layout a few times. You should be golden, aside from that really fast double in the middle. Good luck.

Are the BB pistons made of delrin or teflon? I drilled some K blanks but don't have time to order another set for the weekend. I am just going to glue some holes up on my 6 hole pistons if they are delrin. Thx.

does anybody know if rb6 can use a full-size long battery in mid-motor configeration?
and how's it compare to the b4.1 +8 and dex210 for indoor track racing(us style)?

Agree it's cosmetic, but many buy Kyosho for their high quality and fit & finish. I just hope Kyosho America steps up and takes care of this from a customer service stand point. If some of these chassis' are out of spec and customers are not happy with the denting, then the least they can do is own it and take care of us with a replacement. I don't think Kyosho is denying that chassis' are out of spec or at least should not be denting as normal wear and tear, so let's see how they respond....

Glad to hear that and I'm sure that's the case for most. All the more reason for Kyosho to step up and take care of the few dented chassis' like mine...

Just buy a set of losi BB pistons and you're good to go. You get a full set of 54s, 55s, 56s, and 57s... and they are cheap and work perfect. Currently running 55s all around pink/32 front, red or gold/25 rear.
