No, i don't think so.
Yokomo must have a completely new design chassis to put on the market.
Why so many makers have release a lot of new chassis, then Yokomo is still the same?
At least to have an improvement version of that 1 appeared in LRP masters.
I hope this car could have a stronger arm than that ones from BD, and a carbon protective battery case with strap to fit LIPO batteries.
Maybe will have LIPO allowance at next year in my town races, to finish the tragedy of these chinese "trashy" NIMH and the neighbour cities have allowing already to using it.

Part# zs010rt and zs010ft (Yokomo aluminum CVD with steele axles) I have had good sucess with this unit... Just make sure to really crank down on the set screw holding the pin....

I don't know the part # for the Yokomo aluminum universals but i don't recomend it for anything except stock racing

Just wondering whether anyone knows whether a 68 spur would mesh with a 28 pinion ie would the pinion reach the spur or is the spur too small?

If you are reffering to the 48 pitch gears, then it should fit and you will end up with a final drive ratio of 4.86 final drive ratio....

65 spur would mesh well up to 20T pinion, in 48pitch with a brushless motor

I was wondering if someone can help me.

I know this is kinda a newbie type question but when people put the droop value onto the setup sheets which distance is this actually measuring?

I ask this as I recently had a look at the hudy setup book and this says that the droop gauges and the blocks actually measure downtravel and that droop is the distance the car needs to lift before the tires lift off the surface.

If Martin could answer this it would be great as Im actually going off his carpet setup.

i use hudy blocks to measure droop/downtravel however you want to name it.

atm i usually run 6mm front and 5 - 5,6 rear



make sure the car is totally flat on a glasplate before setting droop

then place the car on the blocks
then take the droopgauge and measure the underside of the wishbone directly under the outer hingepin

i will post pictures of how i measure in several minutes i think

Hi Martin thanks I originally did it this way but I got confused reading the hudy book and started doubting this method.

I tried the method at setting the car on a block to a height of the droop I wanted i.e 6mm and then setting the setscrews so they just lift off the surface and it was different to the droop guage.
