I have had the best luck with the hardend steel universal shaft, but it seems yokomo has discontinued them. (If anyone has any they want to sell PM me) They lasted the longest and didn't break. The stock cvd works well but the pins need to be replaced with drill bit blanks. I have heard tir's work well if you can find them but I have never used them. You might try the rayspeed cvd also.

Those part #'s are for the stock steel cvd in parts.
SD010FH & SD010RH are the part #'s for the hardened steel universals. As per yokomo usa these are discontinued. These are replaced with part# SD010FC and SD010RC but they are not universals, they are the same thing as the SD010FS and SD010RS but are assembled steel cvd's.

I have had the BD since the day it was launched and am pretty happy with it but also know that It could benefit from a few improvements.
Looking at the picture of Masami's car, he is using so many prototype parts that the car is totally different to the BD that I use. I am finding that the faster I get the car and the more grip that I generate, the more I am finding the car to be inconsistent.
When I look at Masami,s car he has a different chassis to begin with and so many other parts that I feel would be good if these parts or changes were documented so that other uses of the BD could get that information too.
Is there any way to get some of these parts or set up tips from Masami from some recent races like the Nationals etc?
