They do. I just checked.
However. If I were you I would wait for the titanium edition which will be about $270-300 unless you need one right now. That kit will include aluminum motor mount and a body, which you will need to buy anyway and they cost about $70+ if you buy separately.

Soon I hope.
It's in "coming soon" status which means it is in production or in transit.
So probably sometime later this month or early march.

Help.......... I haven't run onroad since I had an F103L(Indycar) back in the early 90's. Ran that thing into the ground, and loved it.

Looking to get a new toy for the track, but with all the F104 models I have no idea what to do. It may or may not get raced, but will be on the track 90% of its run time. Indoor carpet, about 30x80'.

So the question is,
F104W-GP, F104V2, Black, Titanium? I don't even understand the differences between the V2 models at this point. I'm thinking I'll run rubber tires and probably 17.5 or 21.5 motor combo. Any input on chassis choice would be a HUGE help. Thanks, Joe

I would suggest any of the v2 models, the only difference between them is the color of the aluminum and the extra goodies included. With the v2 chassis kit you will need the upgrade motor mount, the black and titanium editions include it.

The w-gp is is designed for foams and would need more to to be rubber tire ready with less tunability

Go with a 21.5. It is the standard if you plan on racing.

Who designed the shocks on the f104? they should be fired... It's probably the same person that included the plastic motor mount

I haven't seen a worst shock since.... Nope, it is the worst ever...

How are they suppose to work? both are mounted upside down, with no o-rings at that end, and a hole in the cap

I left a little part of myself on every piece of carbon that needed to be sealed... I don't remember my glue taking that long to dry

Use a sedan shock for the pitch and a friction roll shock from x1 chassis.

You can thank AE for the design as they first came up with the concept of an even pressure shock. Its actually quite an ingenious idea...by having the shock shaft come out of both ends of the shock the pressure on both sides of the piston will always be the same making for the only truly neutral shock.

As for no o-rings....huh? I'm looking at the manual on line right now and there should be o-rings on both sides of the shock. Are you sure you assembled it right? There are 2 o-rings on the plastic cap side...one inside the cap and one around the outside of the cap. On the other side of the shock there is an o-ring in the bottom cap.

Surprised it took so long to be widespread, I have a Demon MF-1 1/12th scale that used this through shaft design from way back in 1983. The shock was borrowed from the 1981 PB Alpha 1/8th front suspension.

And yeah, there should be o-rings at both ends of the shock.
