Ray= gees you broke it?? Yah, it has more steering for sure. Just gotta get it precise it sounds.. if it is a handfull, im guessing you have too much camber in the front, or not enough in the rear. Sunday My new 19T arm and brushes showed up today so im 99% for sunday.

Iv had this stomach bug for 4 days now though... poopie stomach without the satisfaction of actually passing it. Its gettin' old. Thought it was gone, then i made this nice Veal Parmigiana dish tonight and ITS BACK....

2-bad Just try to keep your turning circle consistant. By this I mean dont get smaller than 5 feet and no larger than 6 feet. (you may even want larger if your on a sweeping outdoor track) THEN, if you just feel your car needs more dive, or mid corner speed adjust accordingly. Its hard to explain but what I personally look for is the front wheels to steer presicely, and the front of the chassis rolls (side/side) and the rear end follows, planted yet still feels light..

I think the biggest steps in achieving this feel for the car are higher rear RC and the rear tower mod.

It was PATHETIC how I drove. But-I can tell its gonna be good. I dont think it helped that last lap I drove on this layout there was a black groove and tonight its gone. I went through the car just a few minutes agao and fixed my damage. I'll see ya Sunday if your feeling better. But-knock on wood-I didnt break any of my one-off parts!!

2-Bad,

I basically had the Numan setup on my JRX-S for all of last year's outdoor season. That setup with a spool just nails that LF tire. That is one of the costs of going fast. Maybe your friends that get more runs on their LF tire have front diffs in their cars. Front diffs should be somewhat kinder to tires than spools.

About drilling rims...For racing in the central valley of California, many drivers drill out the tiny "token" vent holes in the rims to help reduce heat within the tire/wheel assembly. At Speedworld, where it can get really hot, it is common to drill 4 each 1/8" holes in the rims at 90 degree intervals.

KB-its squaring up too hard on exit-but that might be the lack of grip in track now. ran a 5.5' circle and sauced almost out to orange. 1-deg front camber and 2 deg rear camber. Maybe I d too little front droop too (barely 1mm uptravel). I usually run 1.5mm. Well talk more Sunday!!

Good news... everyone at the Invitational is suffering with the same tire wear... (Misery loves company )

The main "school of thought" is that it is the Paragon Ground Effects creating this wear... any thoughts?

It's a JRX-S oval car. We have a full field of them running on a 375' d-shaped sealed paved oval.

I've heard that you have to re-solder your battery packs for them to fit in the car, is this true? Also can you run corally connectors that are soldered onto the battery or do i have to get another battery bar and bend it over and solder the plug onto it?
