Thanks for the link. I put the spring on the wrong side. Wish Assoc. would have included the instructions with the part.

Hi utieh!!
I have some NIB steel outdrives, PM me if interested, BTW where do you race??
I might be interested in you NIB outdrives but I want to try the stock ones first and see how it goes..i'll keep in touch
Do you run 12 mod also? How do you like the car? Are you in "supersport" french class?
See ya!!

Compairing TC4 instructions to Steel instructions:
Diff bolt, Diff gear & balls, Thrust ball & washers are the same.
the Diff springs are the same, but the instuctions for the steel Diff says 2 are included? I only received one, and you only need one.
Diff nut, rings and bearings are different.

Hi guys.
Gave my TC4 a run for the first time yesterday and I have to say I was impressed
I am currently in the process of putting a setup on for carpet racing, and on the setup I downloaded, it says for the Shims (triangle etc) 2. Does this mean that I should only use one of the shims with 2 tabs on it under each of the blocks??
Cheers

I believe that is correct. They go in increments of .025 so a 2 is .050 and a 3 is .075 and so on. You can use a caliper to verify which one you are using.
I had the same question last night when I was putting my TC4 together and looked in the manual. It shows the different sizes in the pictures and the .075 has 3 tabs while the .025 has 1 tab.
