You need the offset motor mount with all that stuff on the left side.

May be dirty; but, must have been fun kiddo.

Oh yea.. long night of racing. I have the offset mount, I just haven't bothered to put it back on yet. I switched to the 2.9 chassis for a while, and until recently, completely spaced out on the fact that I don't have to mill that chassis in order to use it. After my last milling experience (fire) I wasn't feeling too exciting about doing it again.

Hey guys. Been doing a lot of research and have decided to get a RDX Carpet Spec for this years winter season. Problem is my LHS does not carry parts for this car. Were do you guys buy new parts or hop-ups.

I like to support my lhs but I refuse to settle on a TC4 or Losi just cause the parts are available.

Suppose I'll have to change my screen name.

Excellent Choice - on the RDX

Just ask your LHS to order some spare parts for you. Start with A-Arms. If they don't /won't you can buy from Corally USA direct. They do a great job (Jeff Brown). Also SpeedTechRC.com or A-B Charles is a good resource.

Anyone know where I can find part # COR79191 RDX LW diff output shaft (short). CorallyUsa has them on backorder and Ive tried a few places and they are out of stock. Got tons of them with half broken screws in them. Need one for a race next sat (the 16th).

Not a bad idea but, proper gearing for the track is most important.

Stormer Hobbies is a good place to get parts, too.

So the outdrive is still in good shape other than the broken diff screw that is stuck in them? I think most people have had success using a hair dryer to expand the aluminum and then removing and replacing (if necessary) the plastic nut. It has been said that Corally USA might even hook you up with the plastic part as it is not sold seperately. I don't want to speak for them though . . .

Take an old diff screw and thread it in from the back side and pull hard. If it doesnt budge heat it up a little bit and should come right out. Call Corally USA for Plastic Diff Nuts.

Always great results when dealing with Jeff and the gang at Corally - one of the main reasons I am stayin with this chassis.

The Corally guys have been oddly quiet the last couple of weeks. Are they away at warmup races or something?
