I'm thinking about buying an RDX: will these chassis work with the 3800 cells and if I buy the carpet spec will I have to purchase a new chassis to make them compatible with the 3700-3800 cells

Ok guys, just built my asphalt car and was about to put the Mazda on there... and the rear body posts don't fit well, they are pretty much inside the wings pylons now....

I have the rubberneck bumper and BRP mod, so this is the furthest I can put the front of the bumper up against the bumper, but the rear posts location is still no good.

HELP!?!?

I got my car in late February, and it was already cut for 3700's, so by now you should be fine for the bigger cells. My 3300's actually move just a bit in the car now.

Dom - I simply drilled two new holes on the rear body mount to move the rear posts closer together.

Dom...start grinding if you have to (front bumpers). I haven't mounted a Mazda on this car yet, so I'm not sure.

I was thinking mine looked about like Andy's.... had to grind a bit of the Rubberneck bumper to fit the M6, as well as a few other bodies i have run.

The Proto Alfa 2.0 and Parma Alfa mounts like a champ though.

I don't think you'll need to do much, maybe 1 mm, 2 at the most. And at that, probably mostly with the BRP not the rubberneck.

For the RDX, has anybody found a way to colour the springs ?

I really don't understand why they don't do this.

Actually the rubberneck sticks out about a mill or 2 beyond the BRP.

I used different colored sharpies and colored the tops of mine and wrote down the colors/rates on a little piece of paper.

Well...try griding that down at the front of the bumper but then make it a nice round edge.

No asphalt for me yet, only carpet so far. I'll probably be racing a little asphalt this summer, but definitely with rubber tires on carpet, too.
