Hello all, has anyone tried the NitroHouse set up for the TT? If so how did you like it and type of track did you try it on?
Caster: lower arm in back position & upper arm front position.
My arms: lower arm back & upper in back position. What could one expect with this caster change? For the most part trying to find a good set up, new to all the caster & rear toe. I race on clay indoor semi tech, good traction. Rear hub has 2 positions inner & outer whats preferred & why? Thanks..

Default bad throttle response

This sounds alot like what mine is doing. I turned the punch control off and that helped alot but it's still really touchy especially starting from a dead stop. Like you said - it doesnt want to go and then all of a sudden it takes off like u punched it. Im running a Sidewinder SCT with a Medusa Research 4 pole -- 4600kv I think.

Let me know if you find out anything about this problem. I have a bunch of castle esc and motor combos and I've never had this problem before.

Anybody?

  • Replaced motor fan that was pulling too much amp

Response from the Mamba Max ESC (with 4600Kv motor) is very bad. I don't run throttle punch, no exponential curve, etc. All stock. Still the throttle response sucks. Like it has turbo lag; at first nothing happens and then it blasts off uncontrollably...

Now changing to a new Sidewinder SCT 3800kv combo I also run (and love) in my SC10. If that doesn't work will switch to RX8 + pro4

Love this little truck! A lot of fun to drive! Just the ESC...

I started out with that set up but I could'nt put the frnt top shock in position 3 because the top won't go on so i use pos 2. Also I went to 3000/5000/2000 on my diffs. I race on an indoor carpet that's very tight and technical.

Mine also has the problem more from a stop then at speed.

I got my new Sidewinder 3800 combo and put in the car. Will let you know if this is better. Someone else suggested to use the 3800 4pole in combination with the Mamba Max. Can try that too if it doesn't work.

Somehow have to fix this...
