Btw, question is, WHY he was using gear diff ... it is "nice to have it because all have it" or it was much better then stock diff?

gear diff with diff oil various weights, 1/8 tuning diff tuning is coming to 1/10 sedan

I am not 100% sure if he used that setup all week end long but I know he has been running the setup we came up with at the IIC and that is what he started with. Rick posted the setup on rc10.com ! this would be a very good starting point. I came up with the setup while I was testing for the iic, and since then I have been running my shock 1 hole more laid in with greens all the way around and a little bit ticker oil ! instead of 35-30 I have been running 55-40 ! the car has been very good so far and I am looking forward for you guys to get it and enjoy it.
Keven, when you feel that gear diff is better then stock diff?
I can get that gear diff has no slip action when accelerate and probably it
can help in some cases but it can destroy something ...
And what oils you or other AE drivers put inside? 1000/2000 or thicker?

ya the slipper spool is what I meant ,hope there is one (great option).
the rear up rights (hubs) were the bearings are and the axles go through.
I cant wait for the tc6 to get to canada ,I wish there was a faster way to get one but mid nov is the release date for canada .

I think the one-way off the Yokomo BD should fit (given that the rear gear diff also fits). There's one on ebay at the moment...

Spent the entire day on Sunday running the TC-6 at my local carpet track.
Awesome!!!
The improvements to the steering system are incredible, this car is much easier to drive than the old car.

Steering system......way more linear than before, the longer arm on the servo side of the steering rack made a huge difference. And all the adj. are pretty cool, 6 different forward and back, wide or narrow at the rack, 2 holes at the steering knuckle.
The motor is in........way in. I ran 12lb springs and the car still did not rub.
Hinge pin mount screws go in from the outside now, and there is an extra position for hinge pin height.
The servo mount holes are sliders so you have the option of moving the servo front to back.
Shocks are so easy to build.
Motor mount plate has 3 screw holes instesd of 2.......side, side and bottom.
The plate is raised off the chassis and secured down in the exact center as to not tweek the car at all.

There are some nice little features visible from the photos:
- You can change the upper shock position by removing one screw, rather than undoing a couple of nuts and having bushings drop on the floor.
- The layshaft looks like it comes out with just two screws (on the TCX you have to remove the whole topdeck).
- The wishbone hanger system means you can adjust roll centres, track width and inboard toe without spending money on lots of blocks. It should also be easy to do this, since you do one side at a time, rather than having to line two separate holes up and try to wedge washers into place.
- The motor is about as far in as it can get.
- Steel driveshafts, thank you Associated! 99% of drivers won't notice the benefit of a light-weight alloy version, but we will notice when they wear out and snap.
Haven't ordered one yet, but think it'll be on order soon...
