Default help me juice up my novak gtb 4 cell for 1/12th scale

I'm running 12th scale single cell lipo with a novak 13.5 motor (and a receiver voltage booster)and I need to juice it up as much as possible to hold me over until I can afford or aquire a programable one. Currently I'm running the standard profile. The profile was originally designed when round cells where prevelant but I wonder if a custom profile should be used for single cell lipo. Is there a better custom one I can program that anyone can share?

Thanks!

Default voltage booster

hear is a question for you. i just bought a 1/12 scale and it has a castle creations speedo and motor and i plan on running a lipo and i guess you need a battery booster that you plug into your receiver, do you have to do any other rewiring or do you just plug it in and go? thanks.....

I'm using the novak voltage booster and the instructions require you to solder the pos and neg tabs on the speedo, plug into an empty solt on the receiver then turn off the speedo on/off switch.

You can see the instructions here:

While the inquiry isn't in line with the initial question, booster installation is usually pretty simple - usually the power is taken directly from the positive and negative battery posts on the ESC, so soldering the leads from the booster onto the battery posts of the speedo does the trick. You might want to visit the following forums for more information:

As for the question regarding the GTB, there's not much to gain by changing the profile. Check the profile card by using the link below, and play with the minimum drive settings...

In reality, there's no substitute for one of the newer ESCs...

If your GTB doesn't turn on with booster's on/off switch, it has reverse polarity protection built in, you will have to use the alternate smart boost wiring and operation http://www.teamnovak.com/tech_info/i...ost_wiring.zip

Nope, If you are going to be running against the Tekin with V203 you will be in big trouble.
