Hi,

I have the X-ray and I'm very happy with it.
The only thing I don't like are the Alu screws that come stock with the kit.
They are very soft, and strip easely.

Bye Thomas
The screws are not aluminum, they are a soft metal but not aluminum, the guys that did my anodizing told me so. Best thing to do get an MIP Thorp driver and you won’t have problems with striping out the screws. A little anytyseize conpound on the screws would help out to.

A buddy of mine was pretty disappointed in the durability of his Yokomo.

He watched me abuse my poor Xray (I'm a mid-level driver with wayyyy too much motor ) and was amazed by the durability.

No, not yet. They said, hopefully by the end of this week. Actually, probably by the end of this week.

Thanks a lot man...... I think I'm gonna switch to european cars this time . Japanese cars are good but they have too much hop up options to make it super but XRay T1 it was designed for serious race from begining.

How much do you pay for XRay T1 factory kit in USA ??

asw7576, Speedtech has them for $309USD atm (pre order, look in this thread a few pages back to see why), by-far the best price on the net even better than the hong-kong dealers who are usually lower than US pricing.

Thier address is www.speedtechrc.com, and Steve is a regular on these boards, Speedtech even has its own Forum here!

yup prices vary as said above, i for one got mine for 285 but they can go up to 330+ i have seen them go for. I would probably go with speedtechrc or kthobbies if they have them on pre-order or in stock.

Default Also known as a toroid ferrite magnet

It adds inductance which filters out noise. Not sure what Yokomo sells them for but they are available from most electronic retailers for a buck or two.

All about Toroids

Cheap Toroid source

Hi, I have tried to pre order an XRay T1 FK, I have tried the suggestions on this page but had no luck, the only place I could find (at the cheapest price 309.99 US) was KT Hobbies, does anyone know anything about this place ?
