Are you coming on Tuesday? I want to try some stuff on your buggy. Unless you go to the losi then you'll be able to lay all kinds of power!! lol

Today was my first race ever at Bumps, and I had a blast. Track layout was sweet, not really all that hard (except for the backstretch), but not boring either. I liked the use of the oval turns in the infield, and the variety of jumps was great, too.

Today was also the first time I ever ran a mod truck...it was fun, but I may need to dial it back a bit 'cause I sucked!! I'm too used to running gas truck, and I still haven't gotten rid of my heavy trigger finger!

See you guys Tuesday

There aren't many competitions that you can come in last and still have a damn good time. HAHAHA.
Well i came in 6th (out of 7) in the Amain, but regardless. I need more time behind the wheel, i wish i could make it out to practice on Tuesdays, but i work 2nd shift.

Picked up some Losi City Blocks for the Amain, those seem much better then the PL Bow-ties i was running originally.
But nothings going to help me more then more time behind the wheel..

jbright,

Your welcome. Now, go purchase an SMC LiPo..haha

Racing was great as usual. The Pro Corr with Brian, Pat, Chris and Bob was a blast. I hope every race is ran that tight. I'm sure all the spectators had a great time watching as well. Thanks to all who ran so clean and made the 1st points race a great success.

Dan,

Thanks for the 2wd Mod ride. The car was great. I hate that you had bad luck but that's the nature of any hobby. You are way too hard on yourself. You had a great run going and it was awesome to be running behind you for a lap or two. All you 2wd guys helped me out last night and you didn't even know you were. Watching and trying to follow the lines you guys were taking made my first race much easier and way more fun than I could have ever expected.

Thanks again for the fun, friendly racing.

Bryan

Bryan nice you guys made the trip. I know I will be looking for that rematch in two weeks. I will get a rematch with Pat, Chris and Bob this week. Mike Kennedy needs a shout out as well with his new Blitz as he battle to make the Pro A main. Nice job.

Chris, and staff, thanks for the great day of racing, My son Alec had a blast racing in the spec slash class. Great track layout. Maybe this old man might give it a try.

Dan,

Thanks. The trucks are a blast to drive. I wish someone would have taped the mains on Sunday. I think you are going to be hard to beat this year in all the classes you run. Just hope for some good luck and you should be set. I knwo I sound like a broken record, but Thanks again for the 2wd ride. I'll be contacting you this week about a buggy!

Brian,

I didn't see what happened to you during the main. I know you were battling Chris for a while then I was being called out in 2nd. The new Pro and regular Spec deal worked out great in my opinion. Maybe in 2 weeks, we can battle it out. I think your truck is faster than my BLITZ but I seemed to gain alot of ground on Chris in the turns. Maybe the BLITZ shines there.
