It's alright...hehe. Well it idled fine today, but I really wasn't supposed to be driving since I have bronchitis. Either way the car did idle a lot easier and feels to have a lot more power. I can't wait to run it in my nitro sedan when I get the RB pipe.

Anyone ran 30% on a stock MT12 slide carb non turbo? I plan on using this as a backup/practice motor. Figured I just add one shim to the engine if anything correct?

hello everyone,

i have a quick question about a motor i have,it is a NR528 XSP and my question is cna you drop the 8port version of the P/S into the 3port version?

i was told you could by some you cant by others,i got ahold of a P/S and the look identical save for the extra ports.
i have also looked at the cranks and they look the same to me though i have not had them side by side, also the case looks the same with the P/S out i dont notice anything different except the ports.

thanks in advance
steven

Default Long Stroke Connecting Rod

Does anyone know if the con-rod for the Novarossi MT12 is still available? Or anything equivalent to that long rod?

Yes, I'd also like to know if there are other engines in which the piston/sleeve set will be a perfect fit in for the MT12.

710-The two shims have been added and now I'm waiting for the RB pipe.

running more shims will take power away and lower compresion. so you are defeeting the perpose of useing the 30% just run a step down on the plug . ( like if you are running 6 hot go 6cold or 7std )just my 2 cents

Ok I'll take them back out. It did seem to loose compression noticable.
