That's a very good question, there is zero difference between the two ESC's when racing classes like 13.5. I guess people enjoy running a $40 dollar more expensive ESC?

Hey Adam,

Could you suggest a software version and DRRS/timing settings for both 10.5 and 6.5 motors running on a GT2.0.

Cheers

Neal

Yeah that's ridiculous. I purchased Speed Passion because they where always proactive on releasing new software. But it seems now they are starting to fall behind some of the other manufacturers. New software should be released with a warning to the end user if necessary. Lets face it most of the people that have worried about purchasing the additional equipment to update the ESC are racers and should know what they are doing.

Gearing is similar to V2 motors, 5.0-6.0 fdr depending on track size and layout. AMTS '8'. V3 motors run cooler. Temp about 70C-75C or best lap time, whichever lower.

the US office didn't release the software for a very specific reason.

The software that's already out is better than the 731 s/w in all aspects.

If you like hitting top speed 50 feet to late, and once you do not be able to stop, and if your off one setting on timing or DRRS you blow a motor up, than email me and i will send you the 731 software.

Once we have software the will benefit our drivers we will release it but not before

should be very different GT2.0Pro is 0.0003ohm resistance 200 to 800A
and GT2.0LPF is 0.0006ohm resistance 80 to 440A

that's half of it, but with 40s better get LCD,

running 17.5/13.5/10.5 is not the only Speedpassion GT2.0 LPF capable of
GT2.0 LPF can run 3.5T on 4cells and 4.0T on 5 cells

and you know that SPGT 2.0LPF black carbon is 440A
then the SPGT 2.0LPF Blue Star Edition is mention 800A
http://www.speedpassion.net/GT2.0LPF BlueStar.jpg

So Speed passion must make explanation on this.

Outside temp near 30C.
But i dont have the stock capacitor , ( not by choice because after the service the forgot to send it back ) i use a losi 8200μf 16V.
But also the 4.0T Ver 2 i was using before the service the temps was around the same with the stock capacitor .

Thumbs up Ver. 2

I've got a question about the ver. 2 speed control. I'm running 13.5 on the oval and wondered if it would be a good idea to buy the lcd programmer to change the software on my speedo? Will different programing make it faster? Thanks Also Speedpassion has really great customer service!
