I've noticed a few people on here running full size wheels esp the datsun 240z. Did it take much to get them to fit? What are the pros and cons of them?

Ive had 3 of these and keeping one..

i raised the body one hole and opened up the well's just a little bit.

Jaegermeister Porsche RSR

Finally got my Datsun 240Z kit along with all hop ups known to mankind. Wanted the Porsche kit but HPI wont deliver to LHS until mid January so instead bought two Porsche bodies (HPI body and Tamtech Porsche body - only for the Jaegermeister decals and light housings...and I am going to experiment with the whale tale that was included)....pictures and write up to be posted in the very near future...

tamtech onroad bodies fit hpi cup racer chassis? what's the wheelbase on the tamtech gt-01?

Tamtech bodies will not fit. HPI Cup Racer wheelbase minimum is 210mm while the Porsche 934 kit / GT-01 wheelbase is 190mm. I only bought the body for the Jaegermeister decals, headlight housings, and whale tail.

I picked up several different color screws from Ofna via amainhobbies. I checked the screw types/lengths from the manual before delivery of the kit and made the necessary

purchases.
