Not sure about the climate in Florida during the winter but a 7TF is pretty cold while Swauger used a #6.

from the article on mytsn, micheal stated
"Things became worse, because we missed one of our pieces of luggage, so I had no tools, engines and spare parts. Also our tires never arrived, so we had to rely on borrowed stuff"

No in tank filter I know of will keep all particles out. In the .12 engines even the smallest particles can cause tuning problems.

Better safe than sorry.
Cool. I'll take note of this.

I believe combustion chamber height also plays an important factor when choosing the plug.

Anyway, I believe they rev the engine quite high and perhaps a 7 plug was necessary.

You'd be surprised at how much particles get trapped at the wire mesh in the external filter. It's a fine wire mesh.

I haven't read that anywhere before, are you sure? Why on earth then do Serpent recommend the Hudy set-up system? With it, you rest the axles on in their respective holes of the system and read off the camber measurements hence this is the same as measuring your camber with the car resting on its wheels.

It doesn't make sense to set your camber with the car lifted in the air especially if you're using the Hudy set-up system!
Diesel Racer is right. Serpent had the elevated camber thingy that you need to set before setting the drive camber. All that is a thing of a past when you set the ride height first (either with the tires that you want to use or with the help of the Hudy prisms. Then set the camber.

Hey there guys, I feel as though I know all of you and the car well. Well, not really, I know this has been asked before but I lost track of the forum around December\January. I have bought a S710, and am waitting for delivery. CHEAP at RC-Mushroom. I need to know a few things.

1. Does anyone know ALL the pinion and spur gear options for the S710, and what are they?

2. The aluminium shocks, what would I need to get for the shocks that would give me full, race ready aluminium shocks?

3. Does anyone know where I would be able to get a relatively old second hand S705 with engine and possibly electronics (not compulsary) But the machine must be running and in full working order. Basically, I want to build the S710 to Race, and a S705 to play. I will need to have it shipped to South Africa.

You only need the aluminum shock bodies. The rest of the internal parts remain the same. 909410 for the front and 909411 for the rear.

Weighs 10% less than the original bell housing, yet still retains all its strength.Due to its new design the bell housing and the rest of the Centax are now better cooled.
