i think 6163 is for the T2. I know for a fact the FK05 strap (306160) fits the Refine 2, just got to countersink some spots in the tape slots, and i'm about to mount it on the original 415. I dont know what the difference is between the two straps.

I'd prefer the 415 spool with the TA05 steel cups over the Speedtech spool (1st version) due to it's lighter than the latter but I keep the Speedtech spool in my toolbox just in case.
Just my 2 cents.

does anybody know how to fit the TA05 gear pully's such as the diff, center one way and front one way on the 415? does anybody have any suggestions?

per Dan Garber's instructions in using the TA05 pulleys on the MSX. loosen the bulkheads, slide the front oneway or diff in... then slowly tighten down the bulkheads again using a star pattern. then secure the top portion using the same star pattern. its a snug fit, but it works.

the TA05 one way pulley will work on the 415 one way.. you will need to attach the pulley using one screw first.. then line up the other two.. although they dont line up perfectly, it will fit. attach the other two screws.. and tighten each screw slowly.... take turns tightening down each one..until they are all tight. from there you should have a 415 one way with the white TA05 pulley on it. hope that helps.
if you still need more help, let me know ill install it in mine..and take pictures.
it might take some time though

With the Schumacher brace, you may need to mill it slightly so that it doesn't rub on the cells as they are quite fat posts from memory and I think I remember seeing others who have had to do that.
I installed the battery posts and brace. With 3300's it's a tight fit but they fit with no milling and the cells don't look like they would fall out in a hurry. Maybe with 3800 or 3700's I would have to mill out the posts a little. Just the purple blue bling clash hurts my freaking eyes....

For the front TA05 one way, we shave off a bit material as it is thicker in the center part as the MSX one way pully. We have taken off about 4/10 of a mm in a lathe on each side. Then it fits about the same as the MSX pully between the bulkheads.

Hi all, I just came back from my first race with the TRF415. The handling was awesome. This car is very predictable with my setup.
However I encountered one thing. While going down the back straight I accidentally clipped the board and bent/snapped the right front aluminum steering turnbuckle. This part seems rather weak, considering I didn't even go head-on. I just brushed the board.
Are there any aftermarket titanium turnbuckles or do I have to get the Tamiya ones?
