Thanks for all of the advice guys I do appreciate it. I'm kinda leaning towards the g4 chassis though. I want a good handling car at a decent price. I've always been a fan of belt drive cars. Never had a belt drive nitro though.....

Rcrevolution thanks alot, pm sent.

clutch on the g4s was a UFO II clutch a little redsigned.

it had a rear belt tensioner, the steering was improved, one way solid axle which they got rid of in the next models.

the g4 is still a great competitor and with a good engine and practice you can run easily with the newer models.

That's true but don't forget the newer models would have a redisigned suspension geometry but for parking lot racing the mongoose would be fine.

Don't sell the ntc-3 though. For the price of the G4 i would keep it as a spare car

Man I love my car. Sun has been out the past 2 days and was able to drive. Took some pics:

I really love just the way the car looks with the whole black/red/silver theme. I would've had some body on pics but my current body is tore the eff up right now. If you notice my bumper support is missing the TM "hood ornament". The black Capricorn tires have been really sweet. Though I haven't trued them yet, they come with rounded edges and traction has been outstanding. I do worry about how brittle they might be. I also had a set of 37's but one wheel broke with a very light impact. The black Kyosho wheels are high in carbon so the stiffness is up there.
The only future mod I plan on doing is swapping out the TM shocks for red TRF flourine shocks. Thing is I can't find them anymore.

it's the G4+evo....
you're going in the wrong direction unless it's for only $20 complete lol just kidding, but you might want to ask or look around for parts for that mtx3 cause it's not the same parts as the 4/r parts are discountinued

almost all parts from the g4s are available for the mongoose, ill leave my offer on the table for a little longer then im putting it up for sale.

cheify you need to wrap the srpings in either red or black ballons and it will look nice.

Nice one. The weather has put a hold on any racing i wanted to do lately aswell so now the sun comes out and it's freakin hot so hopefully i will get some track time tomorrow

Cheify instead of getting new shocks (the ones you have are probably one of the best IMHO) why don't you get the TM spring kit or if you want i have some red springs you can have for the price of postage. They would look good with the silver shocks

Can't wait for tomorrow.................
