trackdesigner - Not yet....

fabolous - Sounds good!!

Brian - Thanks and I hope your right!!

Randy - Check out the Xray site in a few days and they'll have my race report up. I just got home so I'll type everything up in the morning!!

Lonestar - It's all a balance, that's why usually a stiffer set-up will yeild a faster lap time until the extra pressure you have generated on the tires creates too much heat and the tires slide killing the lap time. This is what we constantly test in order to find the best balanced set-up for different tires, track temps and various conditions.

rickdav93 - Hey, how are you?? Unfinished business?? Na... just business as usual...lol..

Default Xray

Josh-I just received my chassis for the Xray and wanted to know if your Nats set-up worked equally well on lower bite carpet as it did that weekend? I made the steering knuckle extensions and my chassis and top deck are 3mm and have the batteries moved forward almost a full cell-so it should be similar to what your running.

Thanks,
Ray

What's up Rubber Tire specialist?

Good job out in Florida...

Gonna keep the rubber prowess going at the Reedy race? I must have been that time you spent at socal for the KO Grand Prix that got you all dialed in

Josh with the many versions of the xray that are available...wanted to see which one would be the best for ashpalt rubber tire racing? That new FT is SWEET! Feather light...was that the car you ran at the Worlds Warmup?

Let''s put our hope together for the next WORLD CHAMPION (eventhough I'm really rooting for Tamiya...but for a buddy...why not?)

Brian - Good to hear you like the car!

Ray - It should work on low bite also - You might just want to go one step softer all the way around for the springs...

Jpilone - Thanks for the link!! Nice pictures!

Jeff - Yep, it sure was!!

fabolousRC - lol... Thanks and I'll do my best but no garantees..lol

noline - I sent you a reply to your e-mail, check it out..

Josh,

I just switched from the TC3 to the Factory Kit T1, I ran it the past weekend for the first time. For a first run it did well, but I have a question. This is running with foams on asphalt.

I built the shocks per the instructions (30wt oil, 3 holes open in front, 4 in rear). The car feels kind of "floaty" and lazy as if the dampening is too low (I ended up running 28lb front springs and 25 lb rear springs). I went to 1 hole open in front 2 open in rear and it helped some, but it still transitions a little slow. Compared to the TC3 the car feels really soft, even with 28 lb springs on it. I was surprised to see your setup from the carpet nats was using 30 wt oil in the rear with 4 open holes, that seems very soft for carpet. Does this car just need less dampening as compared to the TC3?

Wasssup Josh! WOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

When you ran the TC3 and put the Losi rear shock tower on it, was it to stand up the shocks so the car would not have as much traction so it would rotate through the corners more?
