I have the 35A ESC with the 3000kv motor, love it and it is very fast in my GV2 buggy. However my switch fell apart before the main, I managed to get the little sucker back together and win the final. My question is, can it be replace with a generic micro switch? When it was apart it looked to have some type of circuitry in it besides being a switch?

to answer the question about a Novak brushless with the Ezrun. I use a Novak motor in my XXX-T with the Tekmodel Hobbywing 60A esc and have had no problems at all such as cogging. I am very happy with the combo and it seems very fast and alot more efficient than my brushed 19T motor with Novak esc.

So can someone answer my question? Can a regular micro switch be used and has anyone actually done it?

Hello guys, i am new as you can see and i wanted to share my experience with ez-run combo with you.
I own an ez-run 35a+9t combo and until now i had it installed on a 1:10 scale street car with amazing results.
My setup was a 200mah 3cell lipo (changed the cooling fan of the esc to a 12v fan) and it was very fast with 10-12mins of playtime.
One week ago i bought a used Kyosho Dbx nitro and i decided to convert it to brushless.
So i removed the brushless ez-run setup from my 1:10 street car and installed it on the Dbx.
So, here i have an issue.
After 6 mins of play the esc gets too hot and the temp sensor kicks in and it cuts off.
Can you please suggest me what to do?
Should i move on a 60A esc? Or maybe 100A?
Btw the kyosho dbx in brushless 9t is much much faster than the stock nitro gxr18 engine...
But the esc overheats...
I would really appreciate any of your help.

Thanks Scottwhat, wanted to know before I started cutting wires!
George I would say look into the 60amp I would bet that car is a bit heaver and the motor is working harder and heating the speedo up. Also if you want to sell the 35amp, let me know!

The Nitro is too big mate
These Ezyrun are fine in a touring car, 2wd buggy even a 4wd buggy at a pinch but will burn up in a 1:8 conversion, monster truck, even a Traxxas Slash is too big for it to haul around for longer than 4-5 minutes
