please help me out guys, i'm confused.
Assumeing that we're looking at the starter box from the persepective of the same end that the back of the car will be on, the starter box wheel should spin in the same direction as the spur gear, CW.

That confused me too. What ever way you set the car down on the box, the starter wheel should spin the opposite direction that the engine spins.

well i figured it out... i had the starter box wheel spining the wrong way. i'm very confused as to how it got that way because i've been using my FE forever with the box fine. so i guess sometime between getting rid of my FE and getting my CV-R, i musta switched the polarity of the connections somehow. anyway, it's setup perfect now and today i started to break in my CV-R.

the only NTC3 part that Steve carries is the RD Logic Chasis. he doens't have any of the diff cases, chasis braces, or shock towers.

why would you want a carbon fiber shat? the stock ones hols up fine, i've never had ANY problems with it. If you want a pretty looking shaft, you can get a AE factory team one which is anodized blue....

I thought about carbon fiber driveshafts, but had 1/4 " Titanium rod laying around, so I made my shafts Titanium!

I would imagine that carbon driveshafts would shatter or snap from torque when you suddenly hit the gas/brakes or if you bump anything.

i emailed RD Logics and for $70 you get:
4 diff cases
2 shock towers
4 chasis braces
AND the RD logic chasis..

sounds like a damn good deal to me, but i'm only interestd in the diff cases and chasis braces. here are the individual prices:
diff cases: $20
shock towers: $20

When the electric TC3 came out I got on the band wagon bought a Trinity Nitro Conversion Kit. I done the conversion and raced a 190mm nitro TC3 for 2 full seasons. I bent 3 alum shafts in that time, but always fell back to the carbon stock AE shaft. It never give me any troubles at all, which I thought was strange because I have seen electric TC3's twist the carbon shafts into pieces.

All that for $70? man that's very cheap! I'll bet the shocktowers bends very easy. Most good deals are usually too good to be true! 6061 Alum is light but kinda soft.
