Jaime,

I can let you use one of my CRC Encore shocks so you can decide for yourself. I did use the old Losi shock on my X-10 Pro when I ran a full sized 2S battery pack in my first WGT car's original configuration; but, the Encore works best for the standard 1S configuration used on the LE/SE setups.

I find the encore is smoother with less stiction so it's a good upgrade. Best upgrade you can do to an original X10 is the longer side links if you haven't already. Those two changes make it a beast of a car (in a good way).

The Encore shock is better period.

That is something that varies between my WGT cars. This car is currently straight. Other two are not.

And I mailed the two front end parts via mail to you today.

I will be running the SE on carpet for the first time in our Spec 17.5GT class. For asphalt I went from a center red spring to a blue spring in the WGT class. Anyone running a 17.5motor and what center spring are you using?

Almost always red. My WGT car often gets a copper (really turns hard then even in low grip) but spec car stays red. There is quite a variance in the spec bodies though so a different body might need something different.

The club I belong to is adding a one day a month road course and we are going to have our own version of WGT (additional bodies), run on asphalt, 13.5 no timing with 1S. I have the LE and have the Hobbywing 1S ESC which works fine but they are always out of stock. A number of the members are asking what should I buy, so I was wondering what 1S ESC are being used and would a 2S ESC work if an external battery was used to power the receiver and servo. Thanks!

You can use a hobbywing justock without a booster. Also LRP's SXX line will work without boasters as well

Viper vtx-1 and that cheap turnigy 1s speedo have built in boosters.

Tekins work perfectly with a booster or pack.

I ran the SE for first time on carpet in our Spec175GT class with a HPI Corvette body. I ended up going with a white center spring and did not change any thing else. We ran on the same carpet that was used for the Worlds. It had a lot of grip and I was putting less sauce each time. We had twenty cars for this class and almost got to the podium for the B Main.
