Crappy design. Buy the Exotek shock towers. You will be able to use the better body mounts

Imstalled sway bars. I wonder if med front and rear is a good starting point. The way I remember it, if I stiffen the rear, I will have more front bite.

Regarding ifs, I noticed that the spring pre load has no effect or very effect on the front ride height. Is this right? The only way to change the height is to change the lengthy of the turnbukles.

For this reason I am considering replacing the ta06 blue alumn turnbuckles with some xray spring steel ones for durability. Any thoughts our advise ?

I still need some idras on where to mount the mylaps
Thanks

You can use the spring per-loaders and the ifs struts to adjust ride height.... but I would use the spring pre-loaders myself.... but I gone to upright shocks, far simpler.

yeah you cant run the low IFS bodies. Plus the IFS is the only reason I bought this car. If I were to run upright suspension then I would just sell the car and get a TRF41x.

is that good or bad?

I have noticed a trend with TC cars to provide narrower chassis. I wonder what the advantage is.

I wonder if anyone who has a TRF416/417 along with a TA06 can give up a comparison in width.

Eagle racing kit installed! during this install, I remember how much I miss my "good" hex driver.

Best feature:

you unscrew 2 screws and the battery protector(that holds cell packs, accomodates tape AND this HUGE hardcase 2s lipo) slides out. Much easier than factory and (in my personal opinion) the rotating sidemount design...

Thumbs up

No droop screws works awesome sway bars frt
No sway in rear
Traction is super planted even in hairpins
Love this chassis especially with tamiya carbon reinforced upgrades
I like to keep it Tamiya just in case I run tcs

I'm running 17.5 stock with an 80 spur and 51 pinion
3.47 fdr but it's at 160 degrees off the track
But I'm looking at using an 88 spur and 50 pinion for a 3.82 fdr next
The infield was not snappy enough
Gotta get some more spurs

Missed the race today it was so busy

Might want to add some weight on the right side to balance things out.
