Well, ran the Kyosho Inferno GT at the Homestead Miami Speedway R/C track and WOW…What a Blast! The track’s layout is flowing and fast. It really is a lot of fun with the IGT.

The factory 15/19 clutch bell gearing worked well around the track, especially in the infield and chicane areas. The long straight in front of the driver’s stand lets you get the car up to impressive speed, but you’ll have to lift off the throttle to enter the sweeper because the wall will be waiting, lol.

The Ipanema/Sintec premounted radial racing slicks were awesome all day. I ran the 40 shore front tires & the 35 shore out back until the mid-day heat got into the 95 degree range on last Friday.

Went thru ½ a gallon of Maxy 16% nitro on a new set of tires and they’re looking ready for next weekend's race at the Fort Myers track.

Anyone with an IGT living or visiting in the greater Miami metro area should seriously consider checking out the track at Homestead. It’s a lot more fun racing on this track than you can imagine.

Does anyone know where I can find the acre brakes for the IGT? Specifically, part numbers IFW324 and IFW122? Amain had them for a while, now when I go to buy them they are both on backorder...

Default Kyosho Inferno GT Cars Invade "The Fort"

On Sunday, the Kyosho Inferno GT Spec Class invaded the world famous Fort Meyers R/C race track!

Our Spec Class racers had the opportunity to show that the IGT can compete on "The Test Track To The World".

All of the cars performed very well with no problems. All the factory stock engines, clutches and transmissions enjoyed a great day of racing at "The Fort" and they all finished the 15 min A Main without missing a beat.

Thanks to everyone at Fort Meyers for the chance to race the IGT on the legend.

There will be another "Club" race at Fort Meyers towards the end of July.

Any IGT racers that want to enjoy racing on this "beast" of a track should think about checking it out, it was a lot of fun.

We'll try to get a full race report & pictures posted soon.

1. Paul Roberts
2. Tony Cabral
3. Jeff Vargas

Paul took 2nd at the Kyosho US Open, the guy is fast, he was TQ and managed to get in a 17 second lap.

After the race was over we all felt that a few set-up changes could get the IGT down into the 16 second range next time out.

The Fort is a great track for IGT Spec Class racing.
