I will have to add one thing: on my IGT1, I am using the OFNA McLaren body as my racer body (been discontinued). It has been the best performing body for me outside of the Ferrari body that came with the car (which I use as a shelf queen display cover). It is not as realistic looking as the one for the IGT2 but it works.

Dude... that's a great idea, to be able to use the different IGT2 car bodies for your car too. Smart

Approved by Kraceway’s owner.

Classes will be:
GT Open
GT Spec
GT Electric Open

Being worked on right now, will provide more information & rules within a few days.

Open to all brands of "shaft-driven" buggy based chassis. (No Belt Drives, sorry)
Rules will be "loose", and very fair.
International & Pro racers are welcome.

This will be the GT event we've been waiting for.

on the open are foam tires allowed

Tbo,
You guys from 301 come down even though if it is rubber tires for open class. This is the first time I have seen the entire race weekend dedicated to 1/8 GT class. If the racer organizers ask for rubber tires for open class it's cool. This race will be held at a world class facility. Just come enjoy the competition and the track with your fellow GT racers.

Think of it this way, you will have less work to do on your car and more time to drive it. You will not need to true the tires. There will be no need to calculate for roll out. You do have to worry about cutting camber into the tire, and best of all no need to worry about chucked tires.

Rubber tires sounds like the way to go. Take the high buck of truing tires out of the equation and work on set ups to beat the best of the best in the GT class. There's lot's of rubber tire companies to choose from. You get realistic tire sounds, limited drift to deal with and the one with the best set ups go right pass you if your not set right and drift to much and no traction rolls.
