OCM KAOS DOMINATING
#1321
Wow. Thanks man! That would be great. I've got one reasonably set up for indoors just in case we get wet. Would love a setup for out doors to get me in the ball park.
Alan, sent you a few emails. Did you get em? Any chance I could order up some decals for a couple bodies from you? I don't remeber seeing them anywhere.
Anybody using the 48t spur? Would a CB change be in order as well?

You should have got a email from us yesterday evening with a setup attached to it.
Also, www.amainhobbies.com, or www.carolinasrc.com both have bodies in stock. I just looked on amains site.
Go to the search and put in dt0001 and it will pull up.
thanks!

I would go to the track and see which one fits your driving style. If you go OCM, just tell your LHS that you would give them your business if they would stock a few parts for you. I can tell you that the OCM is a WELL thought out design. And the customer support from Alan and the guys is TOP NOTCH. You will not be better taken care of anywhere else. To me that counts for alot.

sm racer...
I personally have only rab a rc8 a couple times so I can not honestly answer your question. However, even though a team driver we do have a guy named Jason Hudson who is doing very well against some of the midwests best guys with the OCM. He used to pilot the RC8 for a long time and can give ya the in's and out's.
email me @ [email protected], I'll shoot ya over to him.
Some high points o n the OCM:
Very Stable, even with stock shock, big bores soon coming
adjustable
very good quality/price
competitive even against the larger brand names.
We have several online stores that carry all the parts in stock, so should you decide to go our route parts are most likely only a couple days away at most. If your local place does not want to carry it...
Parts I would have on hand for the buggy:
front arms(lower)
Shock shafts
shock ends(maybe)
Fuel tank(maybe)
front tower(will take a hard hit)
Purchase a set of alum rear hubs. That is a good selection but at the price you pay you can get two kits(one for parts)
If I break something ever it will be a front arm(lower) or bend a shaft...
Stay in touch!

Alan, could you point me in a direction to get some decal for my bodies? Also, where could I pick up that SICk pit towel! And do you know when the tire racks will be back in stock?
I can't belive the price point you guys are looking to bring the RTR in at! From what I can see it will easily be the most loaded and track ready ride out there! It's like getting a free Redline in the deal!

I'd agree with alan on the spares list ....the aluminum rear hubs are off the hook .....the only breakage i had was runnin early when it was cold ...the other breakage was just my fault ....i bent a few shock shafts but it was at the psycho blast and well if you went ...the jumps were fairly huge ....all in all i would say you will not break anything you wont break on any other 8th scale buggy ....they all break its just a matter of when and where ...as to the gas tank ....i am still running my original tank from my first kit i got a year ago ...im thinking of putting a new one on ..but then again the original will not fail .....
