What breaks on the '008? I'm going to be buying one soon, and being an average kind of driver, I would like to be able to stock up on a few parts for the inevitable breakages...

Um, Buy an extra car? j/k. the typical parts, arms, shock ends, shock shafts.. maybe a set of shock bodies.. caster blocks.. 1.4mm front sway bars, 1.2mm rear.. springs, spur gears.. mod stock gear will work.. 10.5 and higher look for some 96 tooth spurs with pinions in the 38+ range

I just tried a PRS but the spur bolt pattern isn't the same as the T2 008 hub bolt pattern.

Default PRS Spur

It's a Pro-Lite Oval. Guess that answers my question. It threw me because they fit on my Corally.

PRS used to make seperate models... touring, and oval. From what I understand they now make only spurs that work for both.. IF you can get them lol

You could try Windtunnel Racing Products. They cater heavily to oval racers but they may have what you need. I think they might even be offering free shipping until midnight tonight (Central Time).

Hey Custom, see you've switched brands too!
Car goes together really easily just read the books carefully for setup decisions. Which Chassis did you decide on? EU, US 5 or 6 Cell?
