One thing that i would need some help on is the rear end breaking traction. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? It's not that car feels loose more than it feels that the front has to much grip. Like I have to much wieght transfer to the front of the car when I enter the turn. Anyone else with some ideas would be great.

I want to build a 1/12 chassis from the ground up with the AH12 conversion kit. Can anybody give me a hand as to what parts I would need to purchase in order to have the car complete? I don't have a 1/12 so I'm going to have to buy all the parts separately.
Here's what I gathered I'd need:
AH12 conversion kit
IRS rear shaft + diff assembly kit
rear motor mount (left and right)
rear ride height adjustment blocks
rear shock
the whole front suspension assembly
bearings
screws
shims
gears
tires
body
Here's a few I'm not sure about:
- The two alum posts that holds the middle graphite piece where the rear body mount bolts on to.
- The alum post that holds the friction plate
What else am I missing out?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah, you'll need the standoffs for the rear top plate/body mount. Plus body mounts front and rear. You'll also need the center post for the pod plates along with the springs (upper and lower) and orings (upper and lower)... and of course the lower and upper mounting screws. Plus the shock mount/antenna mount. And a Roll over antenna. And pending how you want to mount your servo... you need servo mounts a servo saver with 2 tierods and 4 ball cups.

Since the RC12 L4 includes the IRS diff plates why don't you buy this kit with the Hammer? I wanted to build it like you but it should cost more than a Hammer, a L4 and some new motor mounts...probably you don't want the blue anodization
My first idea was to build the hammer with the Riemon motor mount and rear axle assembly and with some ceramic ceramic bearings( they are cheap at RC4Less),but iu's far too expensive and it seems very difficult to get the Riemon parts.
Since I'm a newbie in 12th I'm more interested into a T-bar conversion set...the XR12 probably

yeah I did some calculations and I'm considering maybe I might get an L4 and a the AH12 conversion kit.
See how it goes...

XENON
I have been told that T-bar pan cars were easier to set up, but the Xenon kit is quite expensive, something like US$150

The only question I have is the battery placements. Most of the new chassis kits that are available for conversions let you move the batteries up a bit or back towards the pod a bit. This chassis looks great but not battery placement adjustments
