So you get upset because someone has the skills to dominate a class? You think it's funny to jokingly bash people because they are older? If Bubba Stewart were still dominating 125cc dirtbikes would you be upset and force him to ride 250's? (He willfully switched to 250s though and shut RC's mouth real quick). You are getting upset because other people aren't able to go faster than guys that have learned through attention to detail and consistency how to dominate? You whine too much bro..."Cleaning up after 25 year olds that act like they are 13." Yata, yata, sounds like you got battered wife syndrome. You shoulda joined the army instead of becoming an online hock shop. Fortitude could help you bear it.

The message behind this thread is... no matter how good you can become by gaining experience. The real difference between you and the person next to you is your age. If you ran organizations you woulda shuffled Jared Tibo and anyone else with pure talent all over the place huh? Those guys were just too good and dominated too much. People should concentrate on going faster and a little less on being a hypocrit whiny bigot.

I agree with most of the defense on Eli and other talents, racing what ever class the RULES allow. Skill should not be a determining factor, full factory rides on the other hand, the top few guys in the masters class at Cleveland had full rides (or even owned the company) I know of one who had no sponsor other than a 40+ hour work week, he made the A albeit barely and a lap off the pace and finished well, IMHO he was the 'winner', there were other equally talented so called 50% 'team drivers' in the B and C main.

I think RBLove posted a few months ago about a Factory class or excluding full factory riders from the Stock class, this should be the topic for ROAR as well as for countinued growth of the sport. Talent should not exclude someone but if you sponsor sheet reads like a who's who... then run with them. Sufficient talent will get others noticed as the are then able to make the A's and so on and so on.

Well I race in the Master Class in the Florida Series. We have a great time as a group. We also have a new youngerster in our group he just turned 40.That makes two -three in their 40's and the rest are in the 50's.Those are the rules 40 and over and that's all we go by now. If they are 100% sponsored or partial sponsored they meet the requirement by age and that's all we have ever gone by. If you want the rule changed send it in and go from there.Even if you raise the age is that going to solve the problem?Face it some people just drive better than others regardless of there age. If your not having fun maybe it's time for a new hobby?

You are a trouble maker! Just slow down and all this complaining will go away.

The comedian Carlos Mencia has a bit about how ridiculous it is that every little league team gets a trophy at the end of the year no matter how they ranked...."You don't want to crush their inner child...right?".

Thats a load of crap.

Failure is the best motivator. When you fail at ANYTHING get MAD Dont ask to change the rules so you can get by or create a new class so you can win. Failure makes should make you try harder and prepare more so next time you not only suceed, you excel.

I did the masters class in Cleveland....finished last

Why?...I was eligible......and I went for the experience of the race and to have some fun....Not to win....This is my hobby and it is only for fun..

By the way....isn't it strange that the word ELIGIBLE has ELI at the beginning of it??

Good day...............

By your logic, we should only have one class.

"Sorry little Johnny, I know your 12 years old and are quitting the hobby becuase you have no way of competing with the Xray/Corally/AE factory guys."

C'mon.... now that's a Load of Crap.

BTW, Adrian, don't quote Mencia, you never know who he stole it from...

Hey Eli,
Did you measure the size of your head before this thread started by any chance.
Just curious.

Fast masters definately shouldnt move back.
We do however need more fast masters so the Eli factor isnt so acute.

Noooo !

Not kool ....

The Master & Junior race programs have been overlook and joke about for year`s...

Rather think its time to focus & expand these programs as they are the key to regrowing Roar & this sport of r/c...

Eli, you going to be at the carpet nats? I want another chance at out-qualifying the bearded wonder again

Everytime Eli walks by me he gives me the old guy stare down from over top of his glasses and then laughs and walks away LOL ahh good times. Then every time he races with me in the show he wants to know if he's getting slower or by some miracle I've gotten faster... I go with he's getting slower

so what about it eli you can't HIDE in masters forever, but at least another good 8 years for me
