Well, it is 37 degrees here. Chance of rain or SNOW today and tomorrow. Today for sure, will be "Work on surface day" unless when I get there it is still to wet. Mother Nature is not being to kind. Watch for updates all day today.

Regrettably, with the rain for the last 24 hours, 40 degree temps and the forecast, the track will not dry in time for racing tomorrow. I hope everyone can understand that Mother Nature is out of my control. I am as anxious as all of you to race, We will shoot for next sunday. I apologize for the weather

First of all Rob i think you are doing a GREAT JOB!!! Now for the rest of you !!! with all the 1/8 scale tracks in the area you think that everyone would welcome a 1/10 scale or a track that can run both seems some people forgot where it all started so you have to drive thirty or fourty miles to race I rember driving two to three hrs to run and have a choice of five tracks to run 1/10 scale NOW try to find one you 1/8 scales guys should kiss a lot of a#$ to be so lucky to have so many tracks so get off your a#$e$ and drive to one i know i will get hammerd for this post but just my 2cents just ask Bruce C he used to do it and still does

Looks like I have to pass the negativity torch to WILDBIL101. Wildbil 101, I switched to 1/8 scale nitro in 2006 because that's what the tracks were transitioning toward. I tried to like it ,but all that hassle that goes along with nitro just wasn't for me. But now that electric 1/8 scale is growing I'm back in! If most of the tracks are for 1/8 scale, now I have an electric car that can handle 1/8 scale layouts and conditions. I raced 1/10 scale from 1991 - 2005 and was sad to see everything go bigger and nitro.

I would ordinairily have a sarcastic reply. But I have my likes and dislikes just like everyone else. We all have one thing in common. No matter what, WE ALL JUST WANT TO RACE AND COMPETE! Some will be happy with SCT, others with 1/10 scale buggy or 1/8 scale nitro. I will continue to adapt and adjust to the ever-changing rc industry, but I do hope that Ed does something about that Ron Jeremy facial hair before the season gets under way.

Rob, yea mother nature always seems to put a damper on racing this early, upcoming weather looks good. however long it takes it will just be good to run and hang with everyone.

wildbill yea it seems like if racers were into 1/8 scale racing there is a harder decision to make which is what track do we go to i too remember having this problem but hopefully things will get better with the ease of brushless/lipo now all we need is more tracks that are willing to accomadate all forms of racing since the sct classes are growing.

osr nice new leaf and well said we just want a place to race and have fun.
