There is really only one hardness in regards to Gold/Clay compound. Gold is it's own type of rubber and has no relation to the other compounds (black, green, blue, red, etc). I have never had a time where mixing gold with any other compound is the preferred choice. Golds either work or they don't and if they work, then 99.9% of the time are the best.

If you need your truck to push more, then I would suggest maybe a different tread pattern (same compound) in the front and or a setup change. If you sauce, then only sauce the rears. If the tires get better as they wear, then maybe a fresh, taller bar/pin tire in the front will calm it down. We always run the front of the truck 1 or 2mm higher than the rear to help make it easier to drive.

UPDATE

We received the alloy wing mounts, alloy servo mounts, graphite battery straps, and several other B5M hop-ups today. The website should be updated tonight and dealer/dist orders shipping this week.

It says the wing shim is recommended for added durability with the wing mount set, does anyone run it ?

A wing shim (alloy or plastic) is recommended so the mounts can't spread under hard impacts.

Already discussed this last week

I feel the reason they haven't released the aluminum front and rear hubs for the b5m is because associated has something new in the works. either a new car or and updated one that the current parts wont work on. they showed these parts back during the offroad worlds. there is obviously a reason they have put these parts on hold. maybe PW will enlighten us. im sure he knows alot more than we do. just my thoughts.
