If you go with a HD tuner, try to get one with a DVI cable, best picture quality out there.
Randman, how right you are!

Sounds like you got the hookup

I havent seen the Fujitsu in person, but have heard it's good. My personal favorites would be the Hitachi's, but I havent seen a new model in a while now.

I want to get a Plasma as well.... but 42" is too small for my HT room... I'll wait for the price of the 60"+ to come down...at 20k.. it's like buying a car.... my 55" mits HD projection will have to do for now.... I wish Comcast would hurry up and upgrade our area to cable HD. hopefully in the next couple of months...

I looked at plasmas but the technology is flawed for consumer use. I ended up getting a DLP.

I was looking at the Samsung DLP's during the xmas season..they are nice...like the narrow depth... but I talked to a friend working at Magnolia HIFI..says DLP has some problems like overheating.. similar problems with LCD's as well.... if you compare fixed pixel screens of the DLP and LCD's... rear projection CRT still has the best picture and deeper blacks... I guess I'll wait til Dec...to look at new HD set...

we better get back to the R2/R3 subject and not get off track with HT talk...

or we can talk about girls...

I'm married so i don't need to talk about chicks, i wish i were single again half the time. If anyone can afford to get any type of hdtv they're doing pretty good. So yah, back to the R2/3.
