I wish the company in my signature would sell the chassis here in the US. My carpet track is very tight and very technical. The tub chassis makes a difference. Easy to drive and consistant. I did the double deck on carpet. It was ok on one run then totally different on the next run. Maybe I'll use the double deck for outdoors after trying the tub first.

I race at Willis... SSH isn't that far from me but Willis is a lot closer...

Isaac, you hit the nail on the head...

There's one other guy running the Yok but constantly has to go back to his HPI...

The Yokomo TC3 will be avalible before long... why not wait and just get the conversion?

Because I hate having piles of parts lying around... Too many damn conversions out there for the SD... I'd rather have 2 cars or more than keep putting money into one...

I bet their is even more than twice the conversions out. You figure BMI, Warpspeed, IRS, KAI, are just a few. How many from other countries haven't we ever seen here in the states.

Isaac does have the best Yoke conversion rught now just because it is the coolest looking and works.

I think the CGM will be the conversion that we need, after that, the car should work great.

I agree with that 100%. I think the CGM will make the Yoke SD even better.

Well I'm going to try my stiff RS car this weekend on a low grip track to see how it does there. Basically very little flex/no flex at all, but I am using softer springs than I normally would.

The CGM will just make the car like the TC3. And cheaper to manufacture. All you guys that have built beautiful Yok SD's then done awesome chassis conversions like the Rayspeed etc etc - you're not seriously thinking of 'downgrading' to the CGM? Fibre Lyte Tub - now that's more like it!!! That's a work of art.

I agree though that the CGM chassis will make the car more mainstream and appeal to the masses. But I already own a TC3.

I have heard a lot of people that think of the CGM as a downgrade, yes it will be cheaper for Yokomo to manufacture, but I dont think of it as a downgrade at all... The tub chassis works great for the TC3, and it has worked great on all of the previous Yokomo cars as well, so why not adapt it to the SD as well.

I hope it's easier to drive than a TC3.

Picked up one lap from the stock SD and Losi XXX-S.
