The arms look like they were boiled...Ive been told u can let them sit in WD-40 for a few days, Its a mechanical loobricant,It softens them.
Also with gearing u can use Buggy gears Crown/Pinion and go up to 48 teeth centre sper and run 12 tooth clutch bell....With a 28 u will get plenty bottom and top.

Outdrives will tell the tale, OCM is printed on them, mugens are silver.Fronts look like mugen. Look at the color difference between front and rear, that's not the stock motor mount either.

Well I was told the old arms were stiff and hard that is why they were easier to break, also in cold whether. If that was true.... I do not know. Now I heard the good arms are very flexible which the ones on this truggy are and the new arms I have in stock are flexible too so who knows. BTW Pooldoc the front diff outdrives on my truggy are grey and do not say OCM and the rear diff outdrives say OCM on them.

Yeah alot of things got messed up. The truck was supposed to be a roller, ever see a roller come with no radio tray and mounts, no radio box, no shocks and shock mounts? Also my 100 worth of parts did not show up in the shipment I paid for and my new evo kit I bought also is missing wheels and tires along with a used buggy I was supposed to get. Another guy ended up with the used buggy he did not expect and missing most of his parts he order too.

Every new kit I have in stock that I got and the new kit I just got in my OCM order ALL have wheels and tire in them so that is what I expected. I guess they changed that?

I'll have to try the WD-40 on a set of truggy arms. The first batch, that I boiled for 20 minutes, couldn't hold up to the abuse I put them through when breaking the truck in. They started to show stress cracks on the underside of the arms in addition to the one arm that I snapped.

If any updated arms come through, please post. If the Caster arms are a direct fit, I may try them.

The arms you have now, Without boiling them are they very stiff? I supposedly got the most recent batch of truggy arms this week and was told they are supposed to be fine. I was not to receive them unless they were. I was told the reason the old arms were very stiff was that they had some carbon fiber mixed in them. True..??? I do not know but the ones I have in stock are now are flexible. If you want to try a set of Caster K8T arms along with the OCM ones let me know. The Casters are pretty cheap too but you have to buy 2 sets as each set comes with a front and rear lower together, not like the OCM that has them separated. I will try and make sure myself on my truggy that the caster ones fit this weekend and will know 100% only thing I can see might be different is the casters has e-clips on the rear upright lower hole and the OCM is captured so the hole might be a different size. Will update later on when I find out.

Chris,

The arms I have are very stiff, no doubt about it. They were the arms that AB held the truggies up for. He did some testing on them off the truck and was able to snap quite a few of them. After boiling, they do get a little softer.

If the new arms feel soft to you, I definitely need to order some of those arms. I'll probably get 2 sets of OCM front and lower arms to try.
