i saw the carbon fiber radio tray and streering plate as well as Shock towers and i must say that its a pretty good idea in terms of reducing weight, i think that having them as a Optional part would be great and for those who want those parts will either have them included in their evo kit or buy seperately..

the thickness of the carbon fiber was really good so i think that durability will be fairly good, at a reasonable price it ll be a good addition for those who like the look and want to reduce weight.

He guys,

Are most of you running the 1.5 mm or 1.6 mm pistons with you Evo set ups ?

Tony, I saw were you are running lighter oils in your OCM Evo buggy. I have been running 5/7/3 or 2 . Does the Evo just feel better with lighter fluids ?

im using the 1.5 with losi 40 weight all around and lighter diff fluids seem to give the car more steering and it feels a little better to me in corners i have been running 5,5,3, i am going to try 4,4,2 and probley 3,3,1,and see how that feels and i am going to try 35 weight shock oil this weekend.

Regarding The Carbon Fibre bits....
I stole them off Theo, who had in turn stole them off Didian...lol
The towers were the old style (not evo) but they definately stood upto the task when I was running em. Now I'm running EVO and the cars heaps better. Looking forward to EVO carbon towers and the car will be complete.
Here's a pic dirtracer took of my car with carbon bits.

Default shock length

when you state a shock length of 96mm on the front and 120mm in the rear is this with the car off the ground or say a one foot drop then checking the length? and what spacers on the shocks are you guys running? thanks
