Last week I had a chance to test these tires, thanks to Ipanema and Mika R. I got to say these are really good tires, way best that I have ever used. I still have one set for testing, so I just got to go to the track today

We got one set on white 10-spoke rims and other on black 5-spoke rims, and as I have read from some forum those 5-spoke rims are not as durable as 10-spoke, we (Mika) broke one, maybe I had something to do with it . We were not bashing, just close contact racing which ended few too many times to roll over...

We're happy to know you like the performance of our pre-mounted race tires and want you to know that we're working to make them even better & more available to anyone that wants to race with them too!

I went to track again and even that one of the rims was broken it held together for 1/4 qallon and still is in one piece. One of the five spokes is broken off from the center, so now it's really 4 spoke rim

Anyway, again I have to say that these tires work great, shore 40 with hard inserts. And the best part of these tires is that they squeal in the corners like real car tires Never had that experience with IGT...

Hopefully the stock/spec class will include all of the buggy based RTR models of similar size, meaning old/new Kyosho Inferno GT, and Ofna GTP I and GTP II models.

As long as it's still an RTR the Wheelbase should not mater in the Spec Class. The IGT and GTP with the shorter wheelbase will have an advantage on short tight tracks and the IGT2 will work better on long straight open tracks.

The old spec IGT rules are going to get very blurry very soon aren't they?

Hmmmm....can you use spec OFNA parts on an IGT? IGT1 parts on an IGT2????

What if the OFNA dominates the IGT??

Is the ofna gtp II still on backorder? I think that they might be a touch better for over all parts. But I thought the engine was a little down on power compared to the Kyosho.

Nope not scared of any brand yet, just taking the occasional stab at spec class when the opportunity presents and trying to promote the evil open class.

Wish I could make it to the Fort Jeff but Aquapalooza is that Sunday and I'll be anchored off Fort Desoto all day.
