Thanks dude, I've made use of the method in the past but unfortunately doesn't do much. Definitely reduced the chatter effect but when I use the normal uni drive I have to tone down the turning travel to at least 65% to completely eliminate the chatter. Which is fine when i'm messing around on a non technical track but anything else that extra 35% of travel makes a huge difference. Should just get myself a TT01 again lol, coz as much as I can remember the TT with the stock dog-bone setup didn't chatter at full lock what so ever and it sure as hell didn't cost $30 odd bucks to replace each corner and it had a 5.5T with a spool at both ends.

Hi,
Does anyone make any specific lipo holder's for the TCX other than the the kit (67841) (5) ? at the moment I'm using 4 (67841) (6), two by the belt and two at either end.
Or will this be on a new chassis

some one must know !!!!
so the HB TCX only give the option of the spurs in the range of 110T - 116T
what other spur gears will fit the TCX?? will xray/AE/any other companies??
and for a 17.5 rubber BOOSTED class what spur and pinion should I run?
right now i have a 115t spur and a 34t pinion.

Xray will fitt, I am driving it now and have done it for a year or so, you will onley be abel to fitt 2 screws but that is OK

110-113 spur should get you in that range
I currently running a 113 spur and 35 pinion 6.30FDR 17.5 D3

another question with 17.5 fully boosted should i run a heat sink and a fan on the motor or will it not get to hot??
#3923
depends on what your temping now. I run a fan and heat sink just for extra cooling. If you run a fan, make sure you get a good one.

question... I am actually working on building the new CEFX evo sedan and it uses a sliding rack steering system like on the AE TC3, I know that the Tamiya 416/417 steering system fits but I would rather run the Hot Bodies one. I just don't know the spacing between the two pivots and the length of the steering arms part HBS68735 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...eering-Arm-Set
If someone could help me out with those measurements that would be appreciated, thanks.

Upgrades/ Hop-ups
I'm thinking of putting my TCX back on the track, what upgrades or hop-ups should I think of buying?
