Just to let know there are no tools, no wheels, no shell, no shim or crank shaft cone (supply own motor and electrics) but there is 30wt shock oil 5000wt diff fluid, small amount of lube, great 2 stage air filter, clear instructions until you to the brakes setup which is a bit painful... the truck is a great kit to put together as this being my first kit and Truggy, seems to be a very solid truck...just a bit annoyed the the LHS don't advise me on there web site that the Matrix Kit didn't supply the wheels & shell cause I'm a long weekend which I had planned to run the beatch in...Oh well....we are a long time dead!

do you run the fuel line around the engine head right over the exh? I see this all the time and many manuals say to run it like that but I would think the fuel doesn't need to be heated up like that? plus the abrasion factor...

Default Question

Question. I got the crosspin conversion for my truggy and I was wondering when you put them in is there supposed to be alittle slop in the diffs because I put them in yesterday and ran then but now when I spin the rear diff it like there is a tooth missing because it will spin one way real smooth and the other way it locks up.

Sounds like a broken tooth on one of the spider gears. Genes pins come with washers for you to get the spacing correct. I have bought 2 kits from Gene and only had to run one washer on each end of all the pins. If I were you I would definately pull the diff out to inspect for damage.

Default Thanks

Thanks T4usee. Yeah I pulled out the rear diff and there was no damage on any of the spider gears. So I pulled out the center diff and no damage either. What I did do this time is I saw that I forgot to put the 6mm washers on the 2 ends of the diff where the cvds slide into so I put 1 6mm washer on each side. So maybe that's what was wrong. I am new to the cen's products so by any chance can you post your setup just so I can see the diffrence between yours and mine. Thank you very much.
