just had my first run of the BD7. As i was the only one at the track, traction conditions weren't favourable, but despite that, car was planted! Corner speed is awesome, and the trademark Yokomo 'on-power' steering is as good as ever!!! Car is indeed very forgiving if built with the plastic parts, and I think I'll leave it that way until I break something :-)

Basis for setup was the asphalt recommended and stayed more or less within the setup sheet parameters. Glad I jumped the gun on the BD7!

Run the BD7 for first time on carpet last night. Run standard carpet setup and it was instantly quicker than my TC6.1.

Car generateed so much traction and stability and is easy to drive.

Was running standard kit suspension arms and components, thinking of trying graphite suspension arms to make it more responsive in direction change and driver input.

Anyone else in UK running BD7?

I'm not yet considering it though, I imported a 2 TCXX to run but am starting to regret it there is a serious problem with the driveshaft hanging out with shock compressed I have contacted hbodies and they asked have I tried the plastic out drives? No f££k off u supplied both they should both work!.
I have my 2nd on eBay now I contacted ks Hobbes but he does not want to do a deal on 2 cars and loads of spares so when I find someone who does I will I believe order it up.
I have considered waiting for the new xray but think them bd7 looks a lush and my last York sd was very very good! Watch this space. Jay

Standard 41.5 rear arms (not graphite) does yokomo do them I've searched everywhere can't find them. I think the part number should be bd-008 r2? Just going on pattern with the other arms gr3 graphite. Any suggestions appreciated thanks jay p.s cannot read Japanese so unable to look on yokomos site.

I didn't measure but aren't the stock ones 40.5? Correct me here if I'm wrong I very well could be.

The stock I believe are 39.5 is it bd-008r0, I've just been checking and everyone seems to have run them every where in graphite though, so in my opinion not much point in buying the others to try and compare!

Is the chassis 2.0 mm or 2.25 seen contradicting in this thread and on the World Wide Web petit Rc say 2.0 in this thread says 2.25 also how thick is the top deck at J

The Stock Plastic Arms are 39,5mm...

And you only need the 39,5mm ones! But i would use graphite on carpet as every good touring car manufacture does this!

If they are what's the difference? Why is there the R vs R1 when both are 39.5?

That's what I thought philipp, Nolan the RG stands for rear graphite I think, the R is standard plastic. The base setups are 39.5 for both carpet n asphalt so assumed it had the 39.5 as standard.

Obviously I don't have a bd7 "yet" but do u get extra pivot blocks in the the kit only on petit Rc I think I saw parts list, the parts that are optional have a star by but there was 2 I believe front front pivot blocks without star so assume u get extras in kit.
