non-graphite lengths
BD-008RG 40.5
BD-008RG1 39.5
graphite lengths

That's what I thought philipp, Nolan the RG stands for rear graphite I think, the R is standard plastic. The base setups are 39.5 for both carpet n asphalt so assumed it had the 39.5 as standard.

Obviously I don't have a bd7 "yet" but do u get extra pivot blocks in the the kit only on petit Rc I think I saw parts list, the parts that are optional have a star by but there was 2 I believe front front pivot blocks without star so assume u get extras in kit.

Thanks Jay
Look it up BD-008R is a standard 40.5mm arm
BD-008R1=39.5mm standard arm. BD-008RG is 40.5mm graphite. BD-008RG1 is 39.5mm arm graphite.

There are four arm options.

Yes i´m sure because i´ve measured it! ;-) I´ve got the plastic kit arms and also the graphite arms, both are the same length...

So i don´t know why there a two different numbers... But i´m sure that the kit arms have 39,5mm... And that´s what the team is running and everything you´ve need! ;-)

Havent measured the chassis(Yokomo website 2.25) or deck.

Zero extra pivot blocks. No extras. I pretty much carry around a small parts store of stuff. The stock stuff is pretty good but a decent hit running mod expect to go through Carriers. I have gone through one front and one rear in one week. My Dcj came apart but thats my fault for not removing the screw and adding lock tite. In turn it took out my front carrier. The second one I got hit in the wheel. It was enough to crack the wheel as well as the carrier obviously.
Things I would buy
Spare Arms
Carriers
Hubs
Hinge Pins
Kingpin screws
and that stupid Spur Collar...lol (although I have 8 of the HB part# now)

Some how I managed to strip steering blocks with very light hits.

Do the graphite ones hold up better? They're just stripping the lower king pin screw out. I've gone through 3 individual ones so far and I'm down to one spare until my next Rc market order comes in that hasn't left Hong Kong yet.

I have my last day of Asphalt on Sunday so I am saving the graphite stuff. How tight are you tightening the kingpin screw? Are you going till it mates in and there is no gap? or are you tightening it more?

It is a softer material so you shouldn't be going too tight or it will stretch the polymer material causing premature failure.

It is a common problem with the plastic parts, once you change to carbon parts you wont have this issue.

Yes, they are much better for pretty much all track conditions. There is a reason the team uses them, just look at the words, everyone used them and that was low grip asphalt
